Gail Vaz-Oxlade's new show is coming......I don't know when but it is coming. It is called "Princess" and gives ladies a reality check with how much they spend on themselves. How fun! I am a bit of Diva myself but it is all my own stuff, avon bought with profits I make and I do my own pedicures, shop at consignment stores etc. You can look great for a low cost.

What is your favorite low cost beauty tip?

Oh Great, I will have to watch for it. I really enjoy watching her Til Debt do us Part shows, even if I want to throttle some of the participants at times. lol
My low cost beauty tip is my hair, my SIL is a hairdresser so I only have to buy the product for colour and she does the rest. I also do my own mani's and pedi's, I bought a hot wax pot years ago for my hands and it is still one of my favourite things to pamper with. I do buy the nice smelling waxes for it when they are on special.

I'm pretty pumped too!! She mentions it on her blog a lot. I wonder if it will be on slice too!
I have to say I'm not much of a princess . . . I would like to be though!!! I just don't have the time to do it :(
One day when I stop going in circles I will be able to!!!

Well, I am not much of a princess either. I am as low maintenance as it gets. However, I don't really have any tips on low cost beauty because I don't spend a lot of money on stuff like that. I buy my make up at the drug store, but I have never bought it from anywhere else, so I don't have much to compare it to. I buy inexpensive shampoo, soaps, etc. I tend to buy only clothes that I need, and generally do not enjoy shopping for them. But, I do have one splurge...I get my hair cut by a stylist who charges $50 per cut. She is wonderful, and I find the money worth it. I don't have to cut too often as my hair is long and curly. So, I guess my advise is to spend a little more if the quality is important to you, or if it a personal splurge, but off-set it with some inexpensive products and services that are not as much as a priority.
