How much do you spend on Christmas?

Just for your kids? How much per kid are you planning to spend? I will probably not answer this question myself, as I am rather embarassed to say.

ITA. I volunteer year round at the Good Companions. I visit an elderly lady with no family. This year she joined my family for Thanksgiving and we had a blast.
Last year we also did a pie day at the church my friend goes to. We each paid $15 and spent the whole morning making apple pies and tortiere's for the Christmas dinner the church puts on for low income citizens. We had a blast and kept trying to out-do each other with the decorations we would cut out of the pie crust. We each got one apple and one tortiere to take home. I think in total we made almost 150 pies! I can't wait to do it again this year!

Well my kids are the only grandkids on my parents side, so they are spoiled!
Oh Jennifer, I miss the days when I was buying Barbie's at Christmas-time!

OK, now that I joined up, I figure that I should answer a post or two!
I don't have any kids, but I do have 8 nieces and nephews. I try to spend a maximum of 50$ (Cdn, as I'm in Canada) for each. For at least two this year though, I've gone over to get them their requests (video game, nice set of treats from Lush).
Of course, I also buy a few other gifts for friends and relatives, but they're usually a bit less pricey. Gifts for the parents can be up to 100$ each (they are very generous with all of us as well). I figure - I have it, I will spend it on people I care about - Christmas only comes once a year!
