So here it is, Thanksgiving, and of course all anyone can talk about over here is what they are going to buy tomorrow on Black Friday. I have no money for Christmas yet, plus I have 3 kids and no babysitter, but I do feel left out. I would love to buy something for someone just to get in to the Christmas spirit. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. My husband is going to be driving to Brooklyn New York tomorrow delivering Christmas trees to the masses!

What about doing some baking? That always puts me in the Christmas mood!! My gf is coming over tonight and we are starting to make our Chrismtas presents . . . cookies in a jar, hot chocolate and choclate dipped spoons! I have an old Christmas CD that we made a few years back and that will be enough to get the Christmas spirit flowing, lol.

Sunday is tree decorating day! So excited!!!

No shopping. Don't feel bad, feel fortunate you don't have to deal with the crowds and pushy greedy shoppers LOL!

You can make snow flakes out of folded up white paper and making cuts with scissors. You could hang them around the kitchen and bake Christmas cookies to get in the spirit.

Good luck!

I took the kids to the public library in this town and then we went to the craft store and bought a roll of blank paper and a set of crayons/markers/pencils and paints for only 5 dollars!!! We're making wrapping paper. We also got some popcorn and cranberries and we're making garland for our Christmas tree. It's been pretty fun and definitely made the time go by faster. Thanks for all of your ideas.
