I will be out with the shoppers today, but I am not shopping, just hanging out with friends.

I'm with you, LB! No money. "Wrong side of payday", as the saying goes.

I do plan on running over to WalMart to pick up glue and glitter later today and possibly 5 yards of muslin. We haven't had a tree skirt in years and I'm planning to finally make one. The glitter and glue are to make some ornaments. Something different this year.

Enjoy your relaxing weekend,
Dee

I'm hoping to go out later today but it all depends on what time DH gets home.

Naw, not into it. I don't get, I keep asking everyone 'why the fuss'? I'm told stores mark everything down so that is why people KILL people to buy XBoxes.

On the positive side, it sounds like a fun thing to do (go to the mall, not kill people) with your pals or family. Soak up the holiday atmosphere and all.

I'm just lazy and prefer to do my shopping and be done when no one is shopping. So I go in October and early November. I live in a tiny town with out any of the major chains, so I would have to drive thirty miles one way to get to the malls. Not happening.

And I am trying to conserve money.

I'm Canadian so we don't have black friday but the sale season has begun, today I went out just for the door crasher, a cheap scooter. I bought nothing else. I personally seem to find better sales them bogo after christmas.

No Black Friday here. But Zellers (Canadian equivalent of Target maybe?) Had a moonlight madness sale yesterday. I got a bed in a bag (comfortor, bed skirt, full sheet set and decorative pillows) for $39. It is going to go in the guest room since I didn't have a sheet set for it (the bed I got is a double and its a Queen thats in there now). People were nuts! They had 4 clerks just standing there trying to stop people from opening
