Getting frustrated

My middle child has Scarlet Fever. I went to the doctors, paid my 20 dollar copay, paid for the antibiotics and I hardly have any spending money left. I have 6 dollars! But my other son is coming down with the same symptoms! The doctor that I went to see told me that if my other kids started coming down with it, then she'd call in an antibiotic prescription for me and I wouldn't need to come in again, but my doctor is not in today and now the doctors office is backtracking and saying I need to come in! I just don't have the money to come in or the gas (they are a half hour away and I'm on empty!) I can't touch my savings because that's for my mortgage and my husbands car that's getting fixed this Wednesday. I just have nowhere else to grab money from. I have a few piano lessons coming up this week but the checks won't even clear until Wednesday and I'll probably make around $50 dollars which I could really use for groceries. The doctor is going to call me back and let me know if she can just call in the antibiotics. I really really hope so because I'm stuck!

I'm sure your doctor will honor her word of calling in the antibiotic.

Phew!!! They just called me back and they are calling in the prescription! YAY! I'm glad I resisted because when you have 3 kids, copays can hurt!
