What to do, what to do???

Well, I'm not sure what to do here.

Tonight, my BFF's bro just secured a spot in the Olympics! YAY!!! (Men's curling!) The family is going to Vancouver to watch and told me that I could come if I wanted. That is a HUGE invite. They have a place to stay and her parents are renting a car. I would just need to pay for flight and possibly tickets to some of the events. It looks like it would be TONS OF FUN and definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity! The flight would probably be around $700 return (inflated olympics prices, lol) and I would probably need around $500-1000 depending on how many events we go to (inflated olympics prices again!) so its a costly venture. But its also something I will never do again (cheer for a friend at the Olympics??? How often does that happen).

I can take money from my tax return (~3-4k)

I was going to say definitely go! That is awesome you can use points! I was just going to add...beef up that doggy business for spending money! Couldn't hurt! So jealous, I love curling! Very cool!
