Hi Mary Ann,

I am sorry to hear you are in the hospital! As your friend, I hope my message to you sends a message that you have been a good friend to me during my hard times over the years.

Amazing job done on your ticker, you have inspired me again!

Do you want to send a bill to your son for the money? Can't Ray collect it?

Merry Christmas and Big Hugs,

Audrey

Oh Mary Ann, I am so glad to hear from you first of all, second, your son and his wife will regret every bit of what they are doing. What comes around goes around. They'll get it good one of these days!

Well I am sitting here stuffed and wishing I hadn't eaten so much, we all had a nice Christmas and a white one at that. Who would have thought that Fort Worth could have a white Christmas? Sure was pretty while it lasted.

Guess I better get off my comfy chair and put the food up...sigh.

Hi,

I'm sorry you are having such a crappy day today. I hope your surgery worked out well for you. And forget about the coal if possible. I think we are in a similar situation. We put up with a lot of abuse from those who are supposed to love us unconditionally.

I'm trying to keep my chin up today. I don't know what else I can do. We have had this whole big family argument and it has exploded beyond belief. It's all on my side of the family. DH has been soooooo supportive in all of this and he is suffering himself as his mother just passed away in August of this year. The light at the end of the tunnel is that my sister was supposed to arrive last night from Oklahoma, but wouldn't you know it, she got stuck in the biggest snow storm Oklahoma has seen in 80+ years. She's at the airport hotel and can't even drive the 30 min drive to get back to her apartment. She said she is just happy to have survived. She could have died in that storm. Puts everything in perspective, doesn't it?

Hang in there. Let's all hope for a better Christmas in 2010.

Kathryn

Aww MaryAnn sorry to hear about your ungrateful son and your surgery.

But 2010 sounds like it will be a better year for your legs.

Remember that diamonds begin with coal, so you just have to change your perspective and maybe it is time to close the door on this new daughter in law.

Oh, Mary Ann, I am so sorry. We all know how much love you have showered on your son and he is being so ungrateful. Quite frankly, he's being an A** and I hope he realizes it darn quick!

You are so appreciated by all on this board. I think we all wish you were our neighbor or relative!

Happy to hear the surgery went well, at least. You are tops in my book.

Take care of yourself,

Dee

Mary Ann
I ditto all the good replies from everyone on this board --- Glad surgery is over and hope you are feeling better.

I am also grateful that you are on this board -- YOU have helped me more than you can ever know and are a BLESSING to so many people.

Sorry that your children don't appreciate your generous spirit but know that your FAMILY here truly does.

MAY 2010 BRING only good things to you

Oh Hi Mary Ann!! Its so good to hear from you!

I am glad you are out of surgery and things seem to be going well on that front.

I hope things improve on the daughter in law front as well. That doesn't sound like much fun at all! I hope they come around.

Your ticker is looking fabulous by the way!

I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself as I had the stomach flu Christmas eve. I am feeling better today thank goodness but yesterday was rough as well. There are people out there that are in the hospital and I need to count my blessings. My BF was very good to me this Christmas. I am at the store today and he came and shoveled for me too. I am a lucky girl!!

Hope you are feeling better Mary Ann!
