Did you manage to not add to debt?

Well, how did you all do over the Christmas season? Were you able to curb the spending and not add to your debt? Or was it just not possible?
Would you do anything different next year?

<Christmas was all cash/debit. In fact, the only time we added to our debt ALL YEAR was the $450 global copay for my maternity care (and we're paying that over four months interest free through a payment plan with the doctor's office). Other than that amount, our debt didn't go up a penny - especially not over Christmas!
As far as Christmas goes, I hope to finish earlier next year. I finished on the 23rd! AK!
FLINGING DEBT:
I never go into debt for Christmas.
Since our family is really down to sister and I and her husband...there is not a lot to spend money on.
Stacy I am beyond impressed with how you handle Christmas! Just .... wow! :) Kudos to you! :)
No...we didn't go into debt over Christmas.
I agree that sometimes the very best gifts sometimes are either practical gifts or those related to the recipients interests!!
Exactly, Aunty!
I agree with practical and thoughtful gifts.
