I've been missing you on the board, and it's so good to hear from you again.

Good to hear from you Lil,

You sound so optimistic and that is really great! I am so glad to hear your job is less stressful. 2010 is looking good!

We haven't "met" but I just wanted to wish you the best of luck with all of your 2010 goals! :) You sound like you have a great attitude and I'm sure that means a great year to follow! :)

I'd also like to say that I'm a 27 year old trying to become more financially independent from my parents. They are the type that will cover rent and bills and buy clothes, bail us out of emergencies, etc (I have an older sister also). I am pulling back from this bit by bit (gave up access to their credit cards and a gas card in March, take less money monthly, no longer ask for help in emergencies, started my own budget, etc), but I sometimes wish they would just cut me off!! lol :) I appreciate the help of course, but I know I will gain so much confidence and self worth from standing on my own two feet. I think the same will happen for the people in your life that you plan to stop supporting.
