OK, so, I did survive the holidays. We managed to provide a nice Christmas for all and we got about $800 cash........which of course went toward the mortgage that I (stupidly) let fall a little late. Thank God for it though!! So,we are right back on track. A little tight for the next couple of weeks but totally doable.

So, I would like to make a list of goals here so that my DSG friends can hold me accountable to!!

1) $1000 in Efund by the end of January (I am working OT every week in January

I think your goals are really aggressive(especially 7000 paid off CCs by 5 months from now). But I also think people set goals that are too low and break even those so good for you. It is difficult to achieve anything if you don't set goals.

May I suggest you put never letting your mortgage be late at the top of the list.

Good luck.

Ah, yes! Goal #1, mortgage to be paid no later than the 14th EVERY month!!! I didn't put that on there b/c I *hope* that is going to be a given for me from now on! I may push the credit card payoff to June so that will be an average of $1170 going to debt every month instead of $1400 and then I can take that extra $230 and put it toward the efund until we get the credit cards done........yep, I think that is the new plan! :) And then if I could take the whole $1400 a month toward the efund for the remainder of the year thats $9780 in savings for 2010.

Great goals for 2010 and I wish you all the best of luck with them! You can do it! :)

Maybe you should take galstorelady's advice and put "Pay Mortgage early/on time" at the top of your list. That way you'll be constantly reminded and not have any slip ups in 2010.

Happy New Year and Here's to a great 2010! :)
