Does anybody else do weekly meal planning. If you do, maybe you can post your current plan. Perhaps somebody else maybe able to use it or use some of it, and substitute to cater to their own choices. I will start.
Tonight -spaghetti, cut up raw vegetables and dinner rolls
Tomorrow -chilli
Monday -chicken marinated in balsamic vinegar salad dressing, brown rice, broccolli, salad
Tuesday -crockpot minestrone soup, grilled cheese sandwhiches
Wednesday -chicken wraps (made with Monday's left over chicken)
That's it for me this week. DH is off on Thursday so he will go grocery shopping on that day, and plan for the next few days.

Copying Marie's from another post:
I have food for the week, and meals planned:
Sat - Chicken Pad Thai with rice
Sun - Chicken Marsala over bow tie pasta
Mon - Chinese Pork with garlic sauce, with veggies and boiled potatoes
Tues - we have a late business meeting, so the kids will make sloppy joes
Wed - Spaghetti
Thursday - Pork chops and mac and cheese
Friday - Fish, salmon with terryaki and honey, rice and green beans
Before I had to move back home. We used to meal plan. It would usually look like this.
Sun - Chili or Stew
Mon - Chicken fingers, raw veggies
Tues - Eggs, Bacon, Hash browns and toast
Wed - Left overs from Sun
Thur - Ribs or steak, Steamed Veggies, Rice or potatoes
Fri - Spaghetti
Sat - Home made pizza
We would mix it up a bit, but this pretty much consisted of our meals during the week.
I'm starting to, thanks to my New Year's resolution.
Kate
We don't really operate on a rigid schedule for meals.
Sunday:
I planned ahead for two weeks this month, because I did an enormous grocery shop yesterday - but here's the plan just for this week (starting yesterday):
Saturday - Roasted chicken, brown rice & broccoli (make stock w/carcass)
Sunday - Chicken enchiladas w/rice, beans & salad (leftover roasted chicken)
Monday - Salmon cakes w/bean salad
Tuesday - Leftovers "pot luck" (clean out the fridge day!)
Wednesday - CROCKPOT Flank steak w/veggies
Thursday - Leftover flank steak over salad
Friday - CROCKPOT Coq au vin (breasts/thighs) w/spaghetti & veggies
Wow that sounds good!
We should do this weekly to stay focused!
Today: Sunday: Chicken leg caserole with fresh mushrooms and 1 cooking onion, cup and a half of rice, 3/4 to Cup milk, can of cream of chicken soup, seasoning salt and pepper. (will have left overs for lunch on Monday) 9x13 pan cooked with foil over top(this is a favorite)
Monday: Broiled Farmer sausage with bbq sauce, potato and a vege
Tuesday: two frozen pizzas as kid activities will leave no time to cook and I have one of my own activities in the evening so I won't be there. (there will likely be some left over for lunches)
Wed: Pork stir fry with rice with enough left over for lunches
Thursday: Chicken caesar salad and garlic toast(so simple and quick)
Friday: Chicken caesar salad and garlic toast(so simple and quick)
Saturday: I have the day off so I may cook a chicken, make gravy with potatoes and vegetables(I might make soup if I feel like it to freeze if there is any left over chicken)
*I need a new crock pot. I think mine bit the dust. When I get one I want to make a beef stew, and some chili!
If one of those falls through we will hot dogs LOL. I get cravings for hot dogs sometimes with fried onions
I try to meal plan but 2 days out of the week my kids are with their dad and one or two weekends month they stay with him. It definately saves money.
When it is just me then I usually just make sandwich and salad or eat leftovers.
I also looooove to use my crock pot.
Monday - pork (crock pot) with mashed potatoes and biscuits
Tuesday - kids with dad -- sandwich for me or left overs
Wednesday stroganoff - with garlic bread
Thursday Kids favorite !!! I do this once a week at least taco mac (ground beef - taco seasoning - velveta shells and cheese mixed with salsa over nacho chips and topped with sour cream or guacamole)
Friday kids are with dad - I usually eat Taco Mac left overs(once a month, sometimes twice if there are 5 Friday's in the monty they stay the whole weekend and come home Monday from school)
Saturday - sloppy joes and tater rounds if kids are home - if not it's burritos or quesidilla's
Sunday - soup loving onion soup these days and fresh bread in the bread machine - today I am making tortilla soup
xoxo
