No patience!

I want to get out there and DO something to make my tickers MOVE! I think most of my impatience stems from knowing I have to wait until the end of Jan for the statement for the big bill I paid (should see a couple hundred dollars drop off of the ol' debt total) but I'm just so full of ideas and excitement and I want it all to happen NOW! Fortunately it doesn't discourage me - rather it spurs me on - but boy, oh boy, am I ready to go! Too bad we have to catch up on the bills before we can really flake, but those payments will make that sucker go down (other than the utilities).

I did a marathon six extra articles yesterday and I'll be paid for those next weekend (along with the regular stream I do for that client all week). Since we're doing cash for groceries, I guess that can all go for catching something up. Cell phone bill, here I come!

I'm not naive enough to think we'll match last year's progress, but our debt went down last year for the first time since 2005 and we BLASTED it. I can't wait to make it happen again!

I admire your determination. It's great that you are busting with ideas. I think you would be frustrated if you weren't. Congratulations on the extra work. I have no doubt you will blast your debt again this year.

Sarah, I love the energy! I can totally relate to the impatience. I am chomping at the bit trying to get our taxes filed asap, so we can get that refund, pay off some bills,

I hear you! I can't wait for payday tomorrow! I have a few dollars that still need to be paid on the one CC (stupid daily accumulating interest!) and then pay off the other one (it holds my monthly bills so I earn cash back). Its so frustrating when you see the goal and just want to grab it. Patience is NOT a virtue of mine :(

You are so positive Sarah! I love it!

Patience and I do not get along. I have 14 more sleeps until my forced flake comes off my ticker. And it will take everything I've got to not throw savings at it. I still might hehehe. It has been killing me lately to not put extra on that ticker!!

I don't know how you do it with the kiddos running around. You are an inspiration and I have no doubt you will take a chunk out of your debt after you get things caught up. I bet that alone will make things smooth sailing.

Good luck. I read your blog all the time!!

Thanks. =c)

Energy might be a rebound thing. I've been throwing up several times a day since October and I'm finally feeling some reprieve. Of course, if not for all of that energy we might not have managed another kiddo in spite of my missing body parts, but THAT's another post. (And another board, LOL).

Thank you so much for the vote of confidence. I'm still all fired up! I actually just picked up another client and I knew THAT wouldn't happen because I cranked my price up. And was chosen out of 23 less expensive choices. Yay!

Thanks, Angel! I make most of my money from home on three fronts: ebay, writing, and decorating cakes (nothing fancy but it pays well: http://www.cakes.sarahcollins.net/). DH buys ugly trucks, fixes them, paints them, and resells them. (He doesn't think they're ugly, but I've not yet been convinced. Besides, they look great after he paints them!) He also works on road tractors and whatever else people drag his way. At my peak, I pulled in $1500-2k a month from all of my resources. He always beats me, though, without even taking his paycheck into account. Not the worst type of competition between us, especially considering he has a real job and I have the five kids and homeschooling!
