No patience!

I want to get out there and DO something to make my tickers MOVE! I think most of my impatience stems from knowing I have to wait until the end of Jan for the statement for the big bill I paid (should see a couple hundred dollars drop off of the ol' debt total) but I'm just so full of ideas and excitement and I want it all to happen NOW! Fortunately it doesn't discourage me - rather it spurs me on - but boy, oh boy, am I ready to go! Too bad we have to catch up on the bills before we can really flake, but those payments will make that sucker go down (other than the utilities).
I did a marathon six extra articles yesterday and I'll be paid for those next weekend (along with the regular stream I do for that client all week). Since we're doing cash for groceries, I guess that can all go for catching something up. Cell phone bill, here I come!
I'm not naive enough to think we'll match last year's progress, but our debt went down last year for the first time since 2005 and we BLASTED it. I can't wait to make it happen again!

Marie, I sympathize on so many open / unfinished issues. I hate to leave anything dangling like that, but when you've got a pile to juggle it must be nerve wracking. Oh, shoot, it IS. I guess we all have our own lists spread around. Sigh.
I do believe, 100%, that we're off and running on great years for BOTH of us. We survived the higher debt totals of 2009 so 2010 at least looks better on paper. As long as we don't fall into the trap of BELIEVING that it's better - so we slack up on our efforts - we'll be in great shape. I'm looking forward to sharing a virtual celebratory toast with you at the end of the year!

I feel like such a bumbling idiot on that blog sometimes! I figure it might inspire someone, like if someone with MY head can do this, anyone can! LOL. I love that you're reading, though. I have a ton of page hits and often wonder who all those readers are! Thanks for the support!
I just hope that when we catch up we can stay that way. Any late or overdraft fees aside, we are still short each month. By spring it should "only" be $1000 or so a month, but that still an entire income for some folks! I still have to walk that line between flaking like mad to get expenses down so the ends will meet and, well, making ends meet. We can't even be in debt and be normal, LOL!

"it will take everything I've got to not throw savings at it"
I'm struggling with that, too, especially now that I've manage to build up the baby eFund ($500 so far)
