OMG what did I create? DH is on board in a big way. He posted over $1k of items on Craig's list today (ok I told you we had a lot of stuff in this little house!) He posted 3 radio control airplanes, airplane engines, tools, and such.

We had been talking about a second job for him for over a year, and today we decided that he will be our online sales guy until we have sold everything "and the kids think they are next," per Dave Ramsey.

We still keep separate budgets but in the interest of common goals we decided to create an eFund in our University Credit union and we will both contribute to it this week. That does two things - we will have one truly joint account in place, and we can eventually move some of our higher interest debts to that card.

As far as our business start-up, we are not going to put thousand in a month any longer, DH will put enough to maintain it, however. I will take over the cell bill in total, to help him with the business costs and the medical costs he took over for DD and I.

The Ex is still not paying for anything for DD, including her medical insurance he is supposed to pay, but he is going back to school. This is good news and I hope he finds a new career and will find work. He would not even come get her this weekend and he has not seen her since before Christmas. It is just sad that he does not understand that he just needs to reach out to her too.

DD got another scholarship letter this week from one of the top three schools she accepted so far. She has some tests to take to qualify for more scholarships and AP tests to gain class credits prior to entry. Based on savings I called and got balances on, it looks like I have enough in funds to fully pay for year one including tuition, room and board without any loans. She is still getting hours at her job, and will graduate high school as a certified nurse assistant, so she can go for a summer job in the hospital (DH's cousin is an HR director for our local hospital.) She can then also do that as work study in school, so we might be able to stretch the funds we have saved up for two years. At least that is our goal.

I also landed two more classes that were unexpected, they are special one time workshops, one this week, and one in February. And with the colleges here packed, I can probably teach 4 days a week if I want.

So knowing I won't have to pay tuition this year, and with DH on board, watch out folks, you are going to see some debt going down at a meteoric rate.
