Hi all :-)

I am feeling a little frustrated. Not only am I taking my incredilble amount of debt that I have foolishly accumulated over the years, I am gettting organized and purging!! So in the process of purging, I came across magazines and cookbooks I haven't seen in forever!! I start looking at prices- $5.00 here, $6.00 here. such a price to pay for stuff that I may have loked at one time and then tossed aside or put in the bookcase for future use and forgot about. More money down teh drain...

Credit reports are so tricky (and frustrating) with the hows and whys of what impacts your score. I have to pull mine soon but I am waiting until I get a few more cards paid down. The big thing for us is that we want to refinance so we have to get our debt to income ratio in check (it isn't too far off) so in order to do that we need to pay down cards but be careful not to CLOSE too many or it will ding us.

Isn't it fun!

Could you sell some of the cookbooks and other things that you are purging?

If you can put $1,100 a month toward debt repayment that will be great. Just remember to leave yourself some wiggle room and have enough in an emergency fund too.

Good luck!

Hugs! It's natural to feel frustrated. Once we look at our debt load, we want it paid off NOW. But you have an awesome plan in place. If you start to feel a little too uptight, find a way to reward yourself for a job well done, such as a bubble bath.

If you feel like you need additional support in finding leaks in your outgoing overhead, you can post you monthly bills vs your income and people here can see if you can save additional money.

You are doing an outstanding job! Good for you for finding a second job in this economy.
