Congratulations on your de-clutter! I did this as well and can honestly say I threw a whole closet full of stuff away or dontated stuff. This was everything from random papers to large furniture that I never use. I think I am a semi-hoarder!! My house feels empty now and I can see the top of my desk after organizing everything! I don't know if you have one but my next "big" purchase is a 2 drawer filing cabinet!

Oh do I know clutter. I moved from a 3200 square foot home with a finished basement to DH's 1600 square foot home that was already full two years ago. We sold a lot of stuff on Craig's list, but need to go through so much more. We have the garage attic full, the bedroom attic full and the basement full of stuff to sort and get rid of. Someday we would like a different home, so we don't want to get rid of stuff that would go to a larger home at some point.

Dh did list this weekend on Craigs list this weekend.

I noted that a lot of people on here seem to go shopping on weekends, we don't generally shop on weekends. To us shopping is a chore and something we do during the week to get it out of the way. I do my grocery shopping at lunch, errands after work and therefore they are quick destination based trips.

I would so rather just be home during a weekend, cleaning, cooking, playing cards or games with the kids and just hanging out. Or we head to our cabin and just hang out doing the same thing there.

Today I am making DH an amazing omlette then taking down the last of the Christmas decorations and cleaning more of the house. Laundry to do as well. And I will be putting on a pot of split pea and ham soup.
