I have today off from work, with some errands to run. I do plan to spend some gift cards (Lowe's & Home Depot) I got for Christmas. We are planning some home improvements, nothing major. We'll start with some paint & simple flooring and go from there. I plan to not charge any of it. So, no matter how slow it has to go, it's not going on credit!

Other than that, I plan on eating meals at home this weekend to save.

I'm very tired. I had the kids all week and have been dealing with their issues. I did not sleep last night and I'm ready for a break. I have no plans. Oh wait, I do so,I would like to have a nap after work LOL! Saturday I have no plans. I have to work for 4 hours on Sunday. If I spend it will be on groceries. I want to make french onion soup and maybe a crock pot meal and clean the house. I would also like to play cards with friends but I don't know if that will happen or not. It should not require any funds at any rate.

Have a good weekend everyone!

No plans other than cleaning the house, having a nap Saturday afternoon lol...and of course I will pour over the flyers to see what's on sale, plan a menu & a grocery list, and go grocery shopping.
Hopefully I get some sleep tonight ~ its been a bad week that way ~ and I'll have the energy to do the groceries rather than sending DH...I'm much better at finding the deals on stuff we actually need...Last week he came home with 4 tubs of yogurt bcs they were BOGO...ummm we can only eat so much yogurt! lol.

We are headed up north to the cabin. DH's grandma was taken by ambulance yesterday AM to the hospital with conjenetal heart failure and today we heard she has a staph infection.

Not much going on over here. We're all still recovering from the 3-week-plus cold virus.

A little grocery shopping for some meat and staples for the next week; we've got $48 left in the budget for that. We've also got to pick up a few household items; $25 budgeted for those.

I do have a little special time planned for myself on Monday - the local nail salon has a $20 mani-pedi special, and I'm going to treat myself with some of my "blow" money. Being that this is the year I'm supposed to start taking care of "me" better, I thought this would be worth taking advantage of! :)

This weekend the only big expense I have is $3.50 to take my niece (2yo)to tumble bumble on Sat morn. We have her every friday night for a sleepover as her big sister has ski lessons and it is easier to have her sleepover than to be dropped off really early in morning. Next weekend is going to cost us a bit as we are going to visit DGD and help her parents move into a new apartment.

Young_mom you can always turn your extra yogurt into yogurt pops. I use those plastic popsicle makers and just fill them with yogurt and freeze. The kids love them. And much cheaper than buying them ready made.

I don't have any plans this weekend and, thanks to my moment of insanity and the $107.04 lunch bill today, I really don't have any money to go out!

TGIF!! :) No big plans for the weekend. Just lazying around the house as usual. We have netflix to watch, food to cook, books to read, internet to play on, video games to play, etc. I might go to the gym one day (already paid for). We might go see a movie at the $3 theater, if there's something good playing and that will be BF's money, not mine (his choice).

Possible expenses - an air filter for my car (no idea how much these cost, guess I'll have to find out!). Groceries (we typically go about twice a week so one day falls on the weekend).
