and another friday is upon us. TGIF!

I saw a joke the other day, it said, after Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says W T F. haha thought that was funny.

So, what's planned for the weekend? Any good sales at the grocery store you're planning on taking advantage of? Or hunkering down and staying warm? there is some crazy weather predicted for a lot of people over the next day or so.

enjoy the weekend everyone!

I am so thrilled it's Friday!

I took a vacation day today. I am planning on continuing the small house project. More paint is needed ($40-50)& maybe some carpet? Not sure about the carpet yet, we have to price them out. I was also invited to a jewelry party, but I don't think I will purchase anything. Unless I find a nice gift or someone else.

I have a birthday party tomorrow, I will probably spend about $20 when all is said & done.

TGIF! BF has been grumpy all week! I think it is because it was such a large bill for the truck and work has been rough this week. I hope he can get some rest this weekend and be happier!

I grocery shopped last night so I am all stocked up for a couple of weeks except for milk and bread likely.

I don't really have any plans for the weekend LOL. I hope to cook, relax and do laundry tonight. Saturday BF is teaching a 4-H course and helping his brother. Sunday I want to cook and help older Ds study for a test.

Kinda lame. Maybe we can get together with friends and play cards. That is always fun.

Hunker down with a big pot of soup and a nice fire in the wood stove.

What are we doing this weekend??

Let's see. DH is going grocery shopping on his way home from work tonight (He doesn't mind doing it and is better at this anyway. I suck at grocery shopping.). Laundry is a must. Probably helping some kid with his/her homework. Otherwise, it's supposed to be cold and I don't want to go anywhere. We will probably do our taxes as it seems we have all the stupid paperwork to do it with, might as well see the damage.

Sure hope it warms up here soon, we were spoiled with 30-40 degree weather the past 2 weeks or so.

Tonight we have a boy scout Derby Car Race so that takes care of dinner and entertainment for all!

I really would like to go to Costco this weekend, I don't need much, and as long as I can go alone, or with just the infant, I can do what I need to do without spending much, but we'll see.

I need to get to the bakery outlet store for bread.

We have ODD cheerleading banquet Saturday night, already paid the $30 for the meals, and I have to get money out for the babysitter.

Taxes, taxes, taxes -- seems to be the word of the weekend LOL! We, too, will be finishing up our taxes -- WHEW.

Other than that, some grocery shopping and lots of laundry. Nothing like a cold, winter weekend to make you want to stand in front of the dryer all day. ;-)

I also took a personal day today -- Its our slow time at work -- but it will be picking up really soon so I might as well take it now.

I will be heading to CVS to get some pepsi they have on sale that will give me $10.00 in reward money.
I have 2 auctions ending so I will probably be headed to the PO to mail those out.
I do need to head to the store - but I am looking at the ads and getting my coupons in order so maximize the savings. I think I will be ready to conquer the store by Sunday -
I love slow do nothing weekends

February will be a low flake month for me so I am trying to save up for March - thank goodness it's a shorter than normal month !!!

My babysitter is giving us a free night tonight as my birthday present...so we're going to go out to a movie or bowling or something, or maybe a couple drinks at the local pub. Or maybe something even cheaper ... we have an issue with DH's paycheque we got to day - about $500 less than it should have been so I'm being extremely cautious right now!

Hopefully pretty low-key day tomorrow, my house needs to be cleaned badly lol.

Sunday our (large) neighbourhood has a huge winter festival with horse sleigh rides, (hopefully) free BBQ lunch & hot chocolate, and fun winter games for the kids...We look forward to it every year. At most, I imagine burgers will be $2 a piece, so <$10 for a day's entertainment isn't bad!

Also in two weekend our (more immediate) neighbourhood has a smaller version of the same thing, so yay for free, fun entertainment with the kids!
