I think a lot of ppl are having a blue Monday (yep me too). To top off a lot of stuff, I went to the dr for 2 medication refills and had a conversation about increasing the dosage on one...got home & realized that's the only one he wrote down, so I will have to make another trip over there this week...between DH work, one vehicle, & dayhome, it makes stuff like this difficult...
There was a full moon on Jan 30th, maybe we're suffering from it. Or just the weather in general - it is much warmer here than it has been (only about 10 degrees celcius below freezing) but with that comes serious cloud cover...so my world is grey, dark & depressing.

I was in your shoes 10 years ago and I know it feels so overwhelming to think you are going to be paying that much money for that many months. But you can do this. My BK just came off my credit report and that felt like the biggest accomplishment ever.
I wish I could say I was debt free but DH and I do have debt - mortgage and yes credit card - but we are determined to get it paid off again on our own and we have a plan.
norma- i hope these 48 months are fantastic for you. just try to focus on how great it will feel to be finally done and over with all of it! you are doing great, just keep up the good work.
hope your tuesday is better. and on a side note- i am so done with snow also. bring on the summer, now, please!
Norma- bankruptcy sucks...no two ways about it....but you have your home, hubby and family...not to mention work and pets...Life is good overall
Marie...I think you work waaaaaaay too hard...I'm sorry but I had to say it...Please try and enjoy some leisure (yes i know you love your work) but you also need more time to enjoy your hobbies and get your home to way you like it...
I'm sorry you're feeling down (I know I'm late on this one, but my day was INSANE yesterday). Please make sure to take some time for yourself and just relax. You are doing SO WELL on the debt/savings front. I know it sucks to not have a pay check, but you are so much lighter then you were before BK.
Chin up sister! Pamper yourself (perhaps a nice bath and a doityouself manicure/pedicure???)

I suppose it is Tuesday but I am just getting to this now!
I am so sorry you are having a rotten day. I am so excited for you that you have some closure on this, a timeline(48 months) and are able to save on top of it. That last part I am super excited for you on!
I don't know when spring comes there but I bet it is soon. You will have your fingers in the dirt in no time.
I had a terrible day yesterday. My sales for January are the worst they have ever been. That was depressing. My cash flow is ok this week and next so I am taking each day as it comes. I have not had to add extra money yet although I am glad I have that credit line increase. I am trying to think positive.
I hit my head with truck door so that was not cool! My charges showed up on my credit card for my shopping I did on the weekend, also depressing. I'm feeling a bit like a loser today. All my friends are talking about going to Mexico this month. Uuggh!

You know Norma, I have to jump on this Blue Monday thread because I agree with the this "debt stinks" and the weather is crappy stuff today.

So one month at a time - you CAN do this!

I'll jump on the blue Monday bandwagon.
Sounds like a bunch of us are struggling, and for some reason the title of this thread just had me thinking of the song "Blue Moon"

Ok, moving on. Perhaps Wednesday will be better.
