Don't do it...don't do it...

I have an incredible amount of stress right now. Serious situations with my step-kids have turned our world upside down in the past few days. And then the money.
We're okay for the month, but barely.
And $ that was supposed to be coming in on the 15th is now not.

Last night, I had a glass of wine after finding out about the $ not coming in.
Then had 1.5 hour 3-way talk with DH & his ex about the kids...couple more glasses of wine after DH making a bad decision to side with ex about something - big argument after. (I dont care that he changed his mind, just think it would have been better to change his mind OFF the phone rather than "siding" with his ex who would really like to take my place in our bed).

Then talked to my mom to tell her what is going on. And I lost it. I mean seriously lost it, crying for 2 hours. Up late.

And then 5 dayhome kids today. I am exhausted, sleep deprived. Kitchen didnt get cleaned last night. Had to do that while kids had lunch. But now I have dishes from lunch & snacks, kitchen is a disaster again.

I am exhausted...literally like a walking zombie right now. I was holding together pretty good until I let it all out to my Mom. And now, I feel.....defeated. Hopeless. Utterly depressed.

The thought of cleaning the kitchen again, just to cook supper & have to do it again (that would be 3 times in one day)...is overwhelming. And I'm already overwhelmed. Seriously - I am tearing up thinking about it.

I want so badly to order pizza. I am justifying it in my mind, so many ways. So I just keep telling myself...don't do it, don't do it, don't do it....
Being in debt sucks. Being broke sucks. Living on a budget sucks.

I'm not even sure that I'm asking for any advice, just needed to get that out there.

Sorry to hear you are having a rough time right now. Can you make something easy for dinner that won't entail tons of clean up? Last night I made an easy egg dish (used 2 dishes to make)as I didn't feel up to cleaning the kitchen.

Try to take a hot bath and relax. This is my escape in the house when everyone is home, and I try to strech it out as long as possible :)

Thanks everyone for the support & thoughts.
I won't complain too much about DH as he did back me up on 98% of the stuff we talked about.
Doesn't help that my own young kids are reacting to the stress and being really really demanding of attention.
I managed to get to bed fairly early last night( would have been in bed @ 7:30 if Lost wasn't on lol darn TV shows!), and will get there even earlier tonight.
In the mean time I'll just keep moving forward & trying to think positive thoughts. :)

This is the place to vent. I know it is supposed to be financial but seriously, our finances effect our lives in every way.

I had a rough week at home last week and am really appreciative of the fact this week is better.

I hope today is better for you. I would have ordered pizza.

Good luck on the dryer front.
