LOL. I forget what my Jan goals were! I think that is because it was not to change anything. I kept my head above water and tried to keep personal and business separate.
Feb goals:
Look at my mini RRSP contribution. Compile Tax info to file personal taxes Do my best with cash flow for my business so I don't have to add $$. Stress less about money (ha ha ha)

I feel like I am constantly forgetting or making my goals better for the month. Sometimes a good thing sometimes not.
I know for sure one of our goals was to spend less which we did, we also kept the birthday party for as big as it was down. The lasik surgery was not a goal but it happened sort of unexpectedly. I am trying to decide now if we should leave the money in the HSA and pay for the surgery with our tax return. It would give us more medical money in case something unexpected happen which is good for us because we have high deductible insurance. But that means we have less $ to flake towards the carpayment that I am trying to get rid of by the end of the year. The good news is that we have the entire year to decide if we want to be reimburse for the the lasik and the money carries over year to year so we don't have to spend it.
My Feb goals are to eat at home unless it is a special occasion like my birthday! I am also trying to think of a reasonable budget for us when we go to Costa Rica at the end of the month and bring only cash so that we won't forget ;).
We did our taxes today and are missing a few things but they will be done by the end of the week! whoo hoo. We are getting more money this year since we both worked less.
My DH is also thinking about applying for a census job to make a little extra $ this summer for the get rid of car loan plan. I think that he needs to apply this month.
January my goal was to keep track of my expenses. I did keep this up (even though my husband thinks it's a waste of time) & it was eye opening!
February my goals are to spend $500 or less on groceries and keep track of expenses. My biggest goal is to file taxes & get my tax refund - then use every single penny of the money for debt reduction (and some new BADLY needed tires for my car).
My goal is to not lose my mind. LOL. Okay seriously. My goal is to continue doing what I'm doing and get those appliances paid off!
I also want to tackle some small projects around the house so that if I decide to sell, they are done. If I don't, well then I've done some small projects and life is good.
I also need to get my taxes filed. The sooner they are filed, the sooner I get my refund!

I forget what my January goals were too. haha! well....one of my February goals will be to remember them!
Also, I would like to:
* Continue funding the emergency fund
* fully fund heating fund (wood, oil) $1000
* pay for dental work I am having done $1200 - no dental coverage
* file property tax abatement, paperwork is filled out, needs to be sent certified mail
* pay $150 extra towards car payment
ugh, that's enough for this month.

My Feb goals is to.......
Not lose my mind!
LOL
Seriously, it's to try to stick to my budget. Which I'm dangerously close to blowing already, and it's the 3rd.
But, I'm proud to say that since I joined this board (in early Jan?) I've managed to put $100 into my E-Fund, so that's a good start I think.
