Maybe it's a sign...

Yesterday, I did TRY to cook supper, despite my crappy mood & day. I had frozen stir fry veggies so I took out the chicken to slice it up...and as soon as I opened the package I just about fell over. Yuck, gross, possibly worst smell ever.
Today, I have about 1/3 lb ground pork so I took out a pkg of about 2 lbs ground beef too - figured I would make mini meatballs for Italian Wedding Soup, and some bigger ones that I could freeze. Guess what - ground beef is bad too.
THIS is why I started ordering meat from an organic ranch - because this was happening 2-3 times a month. Ranch order means literally straight from the ranch to my door (free delivery too). But I haven't done it since November & have been buying store stuff.
Funny that this morning, i made the decision to not order the meat until the 15th when we get paid again because I don't KNOW how much we're getting. Technically speaking I can afford to now, but I'm being cautious.
I'm thinking that the $20+ meat I've had to throw out in the past 24 hours is maybe a sign that I SHOULD put in a meat order?
