FPU Session 4 Gazelle Intensity!!!
| Thu, 02-04-2010 - 2:28pm |
WOW - is all I had to say for a while after last night's Dave Ramsey Financial Peace session.
This was session 4 and you can bring a friend to this session.

Thanks for the update Marie, I love hearing about FPU, you really inspire me to take that class in the future with my BF. I am currently in gazelle intensity mode, I really want to kick my debts butt into oblivion and as quickly as possible! :) My BF is not quite there yet and I thought your descriptions of the different types of people in debt was very accurate. Congrats on getting your DH on board! :)
Thanks for sharing, again!

Thanks for the report. I also really want to take this class with DH. He dosn't seem too keen yet. I am hoping sometime in the spring. I think it will also be nice just to have 2 hours away from kidos once a week also. I also totally get the discriptions and I feel like we go back and forth between the two.

Someone told me you mentioned me so I had to come see for myself. (I have, ahem, been hiding out trying to finish a project! You know, to get PAID. *grin*) But, um, seriously, you brought tears to my eyes. Can I just blame that on pregnancy hormones? Okay, more than tears. I'm sniffling and that's gonna look cute while I'm cooking dinner, LOL.
I love the rest of your post and I'm not trying to ignore it (LOL on the 3% "reward" on the card) but I'm in a serious time crunch. I just HAD to say thank you for thinking of me out loud.
And, FWIW for anyone else reading, our debt rose EVERY YEAR in spite of our "best efforts". We didn't know what trying was until we got serious on Jan 1, 2009. Funny how it's all working out now, LOL. Those excuses as to why you "can't" don't EVER really make you feel better and they sure as heck never help you make any progress! Some people do have legitimate reasons for not making it work, but most do NOT. They just feel legitimate when you're clinging to them - justifying your own actions is a lot "easier" to do than admitting your mistakes. (And that's "easier" and not EASIER b/c it's much easier to get out of debt than it is to live with it.)
Anyway, thanks for inspiring me Marie. Love the post! And so much for a flyby ... that turned into a novel. Why can't I write that fast for my client? SIGH. ;c)
