Oh dear. I didn't do anything for my kids. They didn't even ask for me to send valentines to the school to hand out. Huh, that's a first.

I am buying an office chair for my BF for valentines day. I already have a card for him. He deserves it. I have the cash. I think we will do a lunch out tomorrow for my birthday because we are going to the city and it is my birthday. I would love to see that movie Avatar in the theater. We will see what happens.

On Sunday we are making up a bunch a pizzas with my BFs sister and mom and friend. We will chip in for toppings. This saves us from eating out and can pop in a pizza when we don't feel like cooking for a few months anyway. Cost? I don't know. $100. We make a LOT of pizzas LOL!

Tonight i might take my friend out. She and her BF broke up so she may need some cheering up. We might just stay in. I will see what she wants to do.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Well we did actually get paid today (yay) instead of Monday so the weekend will likely involve spending money (~$200) to run the wiring for my dryer. Hopefully. (Everyone cross your fingers for me!)

Other than that - free winter festival tomorrow over the noon hour (& free lunch), hopefully it's not too cold for that. I'm feeling immensely better but apparently cold air & bronchitis don't really go hand in hand! And Monday the kids & I have a holiday but DH does not - there is another free festival that day so we'll see if I feel well enough to take 5 kids to it on my own.

And of course, groceries at some point this weekend. I have no dayhome kids today (for some reason, parents don't want to bring their kids around me right now lol)....I will spend the day perusing the flyers & trying to come up with the cheapest list possible (I actually kind of enjoy this challenge every week!)

Tomorrow's my mom's birthday, so we're taking a trip out with the baby for the day. We'll have lunch with mom, then on the way back home stop at the in-laws' for dinner.

Sunday we'll go out for an early sushi dinner at our favorite neighborhood place. I got a card for Caroline to give her daddy, and one from myself. I may pick up a little book or something for Caroline.

Grocery shopping is also on the schedule for the weekend, and we've got a three-day weekend to boot. Everything budgeted, everything in cash. Loving it!

tonight we are seeing a musical- tickets already paid for, dinner before with my parents (their treat). tomorrow we have a little shopping to do for the baby, he needs some more pants, growing like a weed. i still have $20 of his monthly clothing budget available, so that should actually come in under this month as i think once we get more pants he will be set for a little while.

sunday- we have no plans for valentines day, but we have $25 budgeted for it if we decide to go see a matinee movie. honestly right now all i want to do is stay home and be a bum, but dh might have different ideas. his brother offered to babysit, so we easily have the option, anyway. we decided no cards or gifts this year, i told him once we are out of debt he can spoil me all he wants (within our means, of course).

we will also have to do grocery shopping for next week. i have to start meal planning tomorrow. i did great this last week and came in under our grocery budget. wahoo!

melissa- hope you get everything set for your new dryer! so exciting!

have a great weekend everyone! happy friday!

No real big plans here. Just some basic home repairs and research for the job interview.

Valentines Day will be going to a movie with my girlfriend (who is also single, lol). So all in all should be a pretty low expense weekend (which is good since I need to save for this interview!)
