...Because I really need to focus on the good stuff right now, I'm in a horrible state of mind about this journey.

(I can't remember if I mentioned this or not before, so ignore me if it's redundant.)

I have a wonderful little p/t daycare boy. He is a month younger than my son (he will be 2 in June) and his mom is also due again in June. She is an accounting tech & generally works 1 day in the firm and 1-2 days at home. But her DH got laid off before Cmas...while they're nowhere near the poorhouse, she's a little worried about stockpiling some money before the new baby comes.

So, she is going to work f/t for March & April. So my little boy will be here f/t. And he is super duper easy to take care of. He is, by far, the easiest child I've ever taken care of in my life - and that includes my own.

We haven't worked out a rate but she currently pays $38 / day (and says she gladly pay more)...the going rate for f/t 1 yo is $700 so I think that's fair.

So an extra $700 for March & April, should help out a little! Def not a permanent fix but the extra income is great!

If we don't look at the positive every now and then it makes the journey so much more difficult.

I'm lucky because my dad gave me a nice birthday present. It was totally unexpected!

Also I now have one less debt to worry about!

It truly has been a great few days!
