I would like to take my boys to a "Free" winter festival on Sunday. However, those things are rarely free, My oldest DS's winter boots are at his dad's, and Feb has been a really expensive month.
We have discussed going to a movie on Saturday.
Tonight my oldest DS has a birthday party to go to. I just found out about it last night. How in the heck am I supposed to keep up with all this stuff? I can't just pull $20 bills out of my butt whenever I want to. Believe me, I've tried LOL!
I would love to cook a chicken I have on Sunday but I might not have time.
We're keeping this weekend low key because last weekend was pretty crazy. All I've got on the calendar is some fill-in grocery shopping and a Stella & Dot jewelry party on Sunday. I'm not planning on spending anything at the party, just looking at it as an excuse to get out of the house and socialize. :)
Well......considering I've felt like a cooped up chicken for the past several weeks, due to the 'lovely' weather we have been having, I have healthy, frugal plans.
norma- i hear ya on the food prices. i can't wait until summer and my garden spoils. the one that kills me is peppers. green peppers are 99c each at our store. over the summer i can yield about 10 a week. not to mention specialty peppers that i grow, tomatoes, squash, and the like... yummy.
anyway- off topic. this weekend i have very little planned. it's supposed to be cold and snowy- so i think it's a good weekend for vegging in front of the tv watching movies and just playing with the little man. some crock pot beef stew with ingredients already in the freezer... sunday i will have to grocery shop for next week- but i think we have a good amount of carry-over from last week, so it should be nbd.
staying warm is really the only important thing on my agenda.
have a great weekend everyone, happy friday! -andi
I have no idea. I *thought* I was going to the laundromat. Hopefully tonight will consist of replacing the furnace motor lol! I imagine after that, we won't be spending money at all. I HAVE to top up my groceries but we'll see how cheaply I can do that.
But I actually am hoping for a low key weekend. My step-kids are actually spending a weekend with their mother, so we *only* have 3 kids here.
My biggest plans for the weekend: I have full intentions of having naps both Saturday & Sunday. The events as of late, coupled with the bronchitis that is not yet gone, are exhausting me. Or possibly depressing me. Either way, I'm having naps lol.

This weekend will be grocery shopping which I do every weekend as well as buying new shoes for my oldest. I also need to get some new seed trays so I can get my seeds started. I've used the old ones for a few years now and only one will be able to get reused and the others are in such bad shape they have to go. I also have some returns to make at Lowe's but other than that no other big plans.
