I have just been swamped and finally got some time this weekend to check the board and give you all the heads up on what is going on with us.

We did take a vacation and it felt good to be with the kids.

Congratulations - it sounds really exciting!

I can imagine how difficult it is to keep focused with so much going on: utterly exhausting but completely worth it.

Also lovely to hear from you (I may not post much, but I do lurk unashamedly).

CONGRATS, Marie, on the strides in building your new business - and TV coverage, how terrific! Good thing you took that vacation when you did...looks like life is going to be pretty busy for a while, and for good reason.

Excellent news!

Good to hear from you Marie. I'm so glad you took that vacation. It sounds like things are going well with the business and I hope your projections are right on. Be careful and pessimistically optimistic so you don't get disappointed about the debt pay off time line.

Have you looked at the import feature to see if that helps when going from one program to another? What kind of text are you trying to move to excel. Excel doesn't like large amounts of it. Just wondering what the goal is.

Wow! I am impressed. I would never have the guts to start my own business and I am always in awe of those who do. I hope things continue to go well for you, and that you are able to maintain some balance through this transition.

Hey Marie

SO glad to hear everything is going well....well, MORE than well....GREAT!

I love that you enjoyed spending time with the kids on vacation. WE do need to cherish those moments, while they still WANT to spend time with their parents! LOL!

I am a certified Microsoft Excel Specialist! LOL! Wish I was in the US I could help you out with your work!

Don't spread yourself too thin ~ make sure you take some time to take care of yourself too!

Good luck with all the happenings!

I sat on the couch Saturday and Sunday and moved the information one entry at a time into Excel - basically it is just some address information I had collected in a Word doc, but in no particular format, and needed to move it into a formatted database (First name into the first name column) etc.
