Does anyone own any of the Energy Star rated washing machines?

We bought Energy Star washer & dryer two years ago when our old ones died. We researched a lot and ended up buying the Amana pair from Home Depot, the cheapest ones out there (on sale, they cost around $900ish for both). I couldn't be happier. It does take a little bit longer than the timer actually says, but they're quiet, use less water and, compared to my old washer, actually cleans the clothes. The only thing we're careful to do is to leave the door open when not using the washer, since front loaders are apparently very friendly to mold if the door is always kept shut. We haven't had any problems with that. I buy laundry detergent and softener at Costco, they are HE and just as effective as tide/downy but considerably less $. All in all, its one of the best purchases I've made.
