four new tops to help you feel better about yourself is a good investment. Especially as you didn't spend tons of $$ on them. I'm sure as soon as the weather gets nicer and you are outside working you will drop some weight.
I agree with PP. $50 is great for 4 shirts! I was watching What not to Wear today and though I'm not a big fan of the show ( I think its pretty materialistic) the host said something about how dressing whatever body you have to the best will make you feel good about yourself and make you WANT to improve. She may have a point.
As an aside, my sister keeps threatening to call that show and sign me up, lol. Apparently my red veloor (sp)
lol christmas fruitcake is hilarious(your sister sounds fun)
Red velour sweatpants sound nice (if they are fitted) and you could wear a nice fitted black top (with lycra in it u know) with some wicked little rugged mary janes (the sketchers type)....casual, fit and sexy....all the cute boys will be after you
At least you got inexpensive clothes!! :) I feel your pain about weight loss. I have an 8 month old baby and still have a few pounds of baby-weight I want to lose. I just got my summer clothes out of storage - including 4 adorable bikinis! ha ha ha ha
I am trying to use them as motivation to stay on track with weight loss!
I need something similar for keeping our finances in order!!

OT - but Aravis, its nice to "see you back", I'd love to hear how that little baby of yours is doing!
Norma, you have been through a ton in the last year, you know that, and sometimes a little splurge is what you need and it

You needed the tops, you paid cash, it was a bit of a backswing, but you are getting there, another month down, right?
Your DH will be back soon (I missed mine terribly when I was traveling too.)
