Dinner tonight

I am having chicken legs tonight again for supper. I put salt and pepper on the kids but I am bored and want to put something else on mine and bfs. What do you suggest?

YoungMom5, Mel, I found this and thought you might be interested:

Directions for stuffed pork chops

1. Make slits in pork chops to form a pocket in fat end. Combine bread crumbs, sugar, pepper, salt, 3 tablespoons of the melted butter, onions, and parsley; mix well. Stuff chops generously and skewer shut with toothpicks.
2. Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter in a skillet. Brown chops slowly over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Add beef broth and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until tender, turning chops at least once. Remove toothpicks and pour pan juices over pork chops before serving.

What are you guys having for dinner that is cheap and yummy?

We're having sloppy joes tonight. I love making oven fried BBQ chicken.

1 c milk
1 c flour
garlic salt, paprika, salt, pepper and parsly flakes (as much or as little as you want to add to season the flour)
BBQ sauce
chicken thighs

heat oven to 425*

rinse and pat dry chicken

dunk chicken in the milk and then dredge in flour mix. Place on sheet pan. Cook for 50 min turning halfway through cooking time. Five min before taking out of oven slather on a good layer of the sauce and then let it cook on for five min.

What I like to do with chicken is put some pasta sauce over it and bake it like that. then put some Parmesan cheese on just before serving.

Tonight we will most likely have some sort of pasta. Unless my Mom takes something from freezer to thaw. My parents are here for a couple of days, so I don't usually have to worry about cooking.

I like to cook chicken with Tandoori paste or Tikka paste. I use Patak's brand in the glass jars. Most Canadian grocery stores sell this stuff. It's a bit pricey but it goes a long way.

I bought a bunch of chicken last weekend and I marinaded a bunch in teriyaki sauce, some in the curry as above, and some I mixed a bit of honey with dijon mustard. So I have three different kinds of marinated chicken in my freezer. HTH!

Thanks for that recipe - definitely sounds like something I could try!

Last night we had hamburger helper. Gross, but I needed something the sitter could make after covering my dayhome all day for me.
Not bad, really, bcs we need 2 boxes to feed us and the entire dinner (milk, bread, veggies, meat) still only cost $9.

Tonight we're having frozen pizza. Awesome week we're having but circumstances kind of dictate having easy stuff on hand this week so I can be at the hospital and DH can feed the kids.

In the past i have made baked chicken which was dipped in cornflake crumbs, and baked instead of fried.
