New and need help! (LONG!)

Hi All,
I have been lurking for awhile, and finally got the nerve to post. I am faced with a dilemma of sorts, and just looking for some input. A little background (I am happy to give more details if needed, just trying to keep this post from becoming a novel): We have a huge amount of cc debt, but have been slowly paying things off. We've gone from 13 (yes, 13) CCs down to 6.

Summers are actually when we make the most income. DH is a teacher as well, and we have our paychecks spread out evenly over the entire year, so that we don't have to plan for a decrease during the summer. DH bumps up his p/t work to f/t during the summer, so he has two f/t incomes for those two months. That's when we get the bulk of our debts paid off/down, because not only is he bringing in twice as much, we save on daycare. Of course, we won't be "saving" on daycare anymore since I'll be home f/t, but the extra hours he'll be working will more than cover us for those months.
I thought about tutoring, but fear that it won't be as steady as I'd need. It might be a good way to bring in a few extra bucks, but I'm not sure I can depend on it quite as much. I've also thought about taking on an evening job (along the lines of a wal-mart cashier or something), but I think I'd make more/hour doing daycare, and not sure how flexible those hours are. I'm still debating a few options and trying to compare the difference in taxes, etc. between different jobs.
