Fraud on my CC

Hi Friends,

I got a call from one of my CC. They wanted to double check some charges on my account. Well, they were not mine.

They canceled the card and are sending me a new one along with the fraud paperwork.

It feels sad. I wonder how it got stolen and if there is anything I can do to stop my invasion of privacy from happening again.

I've got the creeps now.

Thanks for listening,

Audrey

Thanks, I do feel better especially after getting all the support here from you.

It's good to share these stories so we all learn that CC do help in these cases.

Yup, these frauds will stop at nothing, you are right.

In this case I called them back myself using a phone number I already had rather than using the one left on the message.

They did not ask me for my entire CC # either.

Good to keep your insight in mind however, thanks,

Audrey

Hi, Audrey.

I have had this happen to me twice and it stinks.

Hi Robyn,

Great sleuth work on your part. Thanks for the warning.

Hi Kellie,

I have checked my credit report and other CC online and all is well so far.

I would have been more upset but I just talked about this stuff at the beauty parlor about a month ago as it happened to a couple of the operators there.

Cause I heard how they dealt with it, I was emotionally prepared.

But it still creeps me out!

Thanks,

Audrey
