How do you save on household products?

Good morning
There were some ideas in another post but I thought I'd start an individual one and we can share ideas and learn.
1. I add water to spray cleaners --saves $$$ and less chemicals.
2. like our grandmothers, use a bowl for scraps from peeling/cutting veggies -- not paper towels.
3. less baggies for storage in refrig. -- reusable containers
4. Shower -- this is long - sorry.

I get the proctor & gamble "brandsaver" coupons (in canada from Brandsaver.ca and also from websaver.ca) and also from the brandsaver newspaper insert and I combine them with sales and use them at stores that let me stack coupons. I also hang out on an online coupon and deal forum to learn of what's on sale where, bargains, etc.
In March I used coupons and sales and coupon stacking and got my brother: 3 cans of shave gel, 3 deodorants, 6 bottles body wash for $8.61. These are regular size brand name products that would have cost about $60+ at regular price. I just got a good bottle of HE laundry detergent on sale $6.99 and I used $5.50 worth of coupons. It cost me $2.33 with tax. Regular retail is $8.99 plus tax.
It's all legitimate use of coupons and sales and that is what I am doing.
OK, I feel dump as dirt.
