Another week gone by? Wow, a fast one for me!
Oldest dear son needs a haircut very badly so I just booked that for tomorrow. It was 15 bucks last time so I am hoping for that again. I just had my sister do my hair. She said you are most welcome for the $140 cut and color! I love my sister!!
I handed in all my papers for personal taxes to my accountant(he does my business taxes too). Hopefully that will even out to zero. Crossing fingers. There will be a fee with that but its ok, worth the money to me. He always finds credits and keeps up with the latest tax info.
I would love to cook a roast or a chicken on Sunday for leftovers.
Other than that there are some kid's activities that must be completed for next week that should not cost anything and some yard work. I would love to get a couple walks in as well.
Hopefully nothing else pops up that requires cash!
What are you guys all doing?

Let's see tonight mom and I will go to Bingo more than likely. She even said she'd buy my cards. I have Saturday morning to straighten the house a bit and go mattress shopping, my oil needs changed in my truck, that is all I can think of for now.
Expensive weekend but necessities.
It's oldest DS's birthday this weekend. His party isnt until next weekend but we're going to take the kids to the indoor play place. We get free admission so we'll likely spring for lunch or supper there for his birthday.
Other than that, groceries as per usual. And laundry stuff, the 20 loads I've done this week to try to catch up has depleted all my laundry supplies! LOL!
We were supposed to go out tonight with friends but made the frugal responsible decision to stay home and not put out money for a babysitter, drinks, and cabs. We could both really use the break but after last week there's no adult spending for quite a while!

I have "yard play" planned again.

Well -- I am probably crazy for doing this BUT I
It looks like a really cheap weekend here.
I have a VERY busy day tomorrow.
Wow, Lila, good luck!

hi all-
this weekend we don't have much planned. the usual grocery shopping and diaper run... we are going to look into sheds, price them out to see if it's a better deal to build a "pre-fab" one rather than a custom one. we have these great plans for a play structure/ outdoor storage, but looking at the timeline, it's better to wait a few years when ds will be old enough to enjoy the play structure. and since we are thinking that we would likely move in a few years, it's best to not spend more than needed... ah- thinking things through! finally!
this week was tough- i took our car in with a list of things that needed looking at after a winter of massive, car swallowing potholes, and budgeted 400 for the repairs. the total they called me with was 800! OUCH! so we only had them do the most pressing items (whatever they could do for 400), and we will start saving for the rest. i am proud of myself, 6 months ago i would have said, do what you've gotta do, and put it on a credit card. progress!!
going to get into the garden, have budgeted for soil.
that's about it. have a happy weekend everyone!

Oooh... that's a tempting price on T-bones!
The rest of the weekend hopefully will be putting in the new fence section. It's a large metal piece that gets fitted into some 6x6 posts. We took out a couple of dead cedars last year and I really need that corner of the house protected again. Our house is literally only a couple of feet from the sidewalk. So I would like it up to keep our front door out of plain view.
Maybe take DGD to the park for a couple of hours. (we have her with us for another 6 weeks or so)
If the weather stinks, will get some of the clutter corners busted.
Also need to sort out DGD's clothes again, they grow pretty fast at 15 months. Bought her 5 pairs of jeans/pants today for $1.50 each, Zellers had them marked down and then an additional 50% off last tag sale.
