I'm not sure... I think it depends on how things are going at the moment. Right now I would say I would apply it to DHs Snap On bill. That thing annoys me to no end and we're withing $500 of having it paid off.
If it happened today, I'd probably put it towards the vet bill; but, if I found it next week? TJ Maxx, here I come!

Kate that sounds great!
I would put it in my bank account. I have so many bills coming up (its scary really) and no idea how much they are going to be (the last payment for my water, hydro, gas etc) AND the start of my NEW bills which all have hookup fees. I've managed to sock away $600 for this purpose, BUT another $100 would make me feel so much better!

If it was to happen at the moment, it would go into my savings account - mainly a selfish action on my part. I've got a friend who is travelling to Hawaii in late May or sometime in June who is willing to pick up an e-reader for me, so I'm saving as much as I can at the moment. Even with the exchange rate its still cheaper than purchasing the device here, ignoring the fact that there aren't many places that would be willing to sell them since our laws don't protect authors enough.
Just to prevent any suggestions that maybe I shouldn't be buying this - I have already started to use ebooks on my PC (started around 18 months ago) since much of the time for the books I read there tends to be anywhere from 1month to 6months delay between the titles being release in the US and being released here. I've even seen titles take a year or more to come out here. I'm not too patient especially when authors keep posting excerpts on their blogs. Plus ebooks save me the cost of having the books shipped from the US.
If it was part way into June or beyond, other than knowing that some would go towards my debt reduction, I have no idea what I would use the $100 for.
More than likely I'd give it to our son & DIL.

$100 is an interesting number, perhaps that is where my head should be at. Yesterday I was thinking about if $1000 fell into my lap what would I do with it and I could not apply it to debt. I had no idea! Lame, I know!
But $100 I would go golfing and rent a cart, then have dinner at the club house with my friends. Perhaps I would buy 2 golf lessons instead?
Good post!
