Oh dear!

Is there a shelter you can give the puppies to? Advertise in the local places you are giving them away to good homes?

Oh dear, good luck!

I guess it's congrats to the new momma!

My mother was a dog breeder and I cannot count the number of puppies I have delivered. I honestly think it is one of those things people can do themselves if they aren't squemish and don't freak out about it. You may not be comfortable with it but I'm just saying it is very doable at home, especially with larger dogs.

Hopefully you'll be able to find good homes for the puppies and I hope your DS will become a little more reasonable about getting her fixed after this.

LOL. Sorry - I'm dealing with my own little unexpected bundle right now! (Although ... hmmmm ... maybe since surgery didn't work we should try the electric fence!)

Egads Norma,

I'm sure you can find them good homes (I'll keep my fingers crossed for a small litter).

Hopefully after this DS will get her spayed.

Oh Brownie . . .

hello!! yeah, id be ticked.at least, on the plus side, the puppies will be nursed for a lil while. by the time they will actually be eating "real" food, they will be old enough for you to get rid of them. start talking to pet stores, friends, family and the humane society-plan ahead so you know what to do with those puppies once they arrive. my best friend last night told me her dog is in heat and the male they have has been very friendly. i didnt think her dog could have puppies anymore-i thought she was too old. (shes 8 or 9, i think)i told her last night if it happens, a puppy would NOT be a good birthday present for my oldest dd. she told me the puppies wouldnt be here by the time her birthday rolled around (end of june) but maybe as a back-to-school present-i told her absolutely not. i just hope she listens...take care!!
