Weekend Expenses $$?

Guess what? Its Thursday!

What do you have planned for the weekend? Is it going to be pricey?

Well for me, I thought I had the kids this weekend so I am not working. But there was a mix up and I don't have the kids! It has date night written all over it! I am considering a movie and possibly dinner. If we go to dinner we never get popcorn, too full. And we haven't had Mexican in awhile so that will be inexpensive.

Saturday I have a girl's night out. This might be pricey, but I don't know yet. I will take it easy, or try to. Oh and I need to grocery shop too!

I would love to get some walks in. Even if it rains I am going to try hard to do this!

Have a good weekend!

Well, it's Memorial Day weekend here in the States, so my kids and darling husband will be home for 3 days. Other than groceries, no major spending happening (I hope!)

It's supposed to be beautiful here in Wisconsin this weekend.

Enjoy!

This weekend will be a stay at home weekend. The only expected expense is taking DGD to the Annual Childrens festival, which is $10 to get in, there is also other shows that need admission but she is too little for those.

Oh it has been hot here in MI this week, 84 today. We are headed up north to our cabin for the weekend and bringing DD's best friend who is a boy, and taking her to prom, but is not her boyfriend????!!!??

So we will put in the boats, help DH's parents clean out more of his grandma's cabin, have some ribs, chicken and burgers (we never eat out at the cabin.) We will probably have some ice cream, jump in the lake, test out some water skiis and maybe the kids will spend one night on the island campling.

I honestly can't wait to be up there! I am working out of the office with an agency, then visiting some customers so I will be done early tomorrow and we should be heading out by 3PM.

Oh, weather is expected to be sunny and 80s all weekend.

Since it's memorial day weekend, we may smoke a pork shoulder in the smoker.

With everything that we had to replace this past week, I plan to not leave my house/yard this weekend.

It's my 2 & 4 year old's party this weekend. Everything has been paid for already except some more burgers since I found on on Wednesday extra ppl are coming. And then the buns etc and pop & chips, but that is all going to be generic so it shouldn't be too bad.

Other than that, there shouldn't be any money spent except groceries for the next 2 weeks.

This will be a pretty low-key weekend here. Our one big "splurge" will be our traditional breakfast out at Cracker Barrel; we go only on the two summer "bookend" three-day weekends. :)

Otherwise, I plan to spend a TON of time out in the yard, getting our vegetable garden up and running, finishing up some mulching, planting flowers, etc. And, we'll be gearing up on the basement and garage cleanout, as well. This will probably mean a trip or two to Home Depot, but I'm keeping our budget to under $100.

Have a great weekend!
