Sandy -

Congratulations! You have been in my thoughts and prayers. It's great to see you're doing so well. I went yesterday for my pre-op appointment. The drains kinda scared me, I had no idea what they looked like. I was told that mine will need to stay in for a week, maybe longer depending on how much drainage I'm getting. Oh well, I keep saying it will all be worth it in the end -
Get lots of rest and take it easy . . . and keep us posted on your recovery!

It sounds like you are doing well. Glad to hear it. I always think of the surgery as one of the smartest things I ever did. Please continue to keep us posted.

Hi again...

Now, this is just my opinion as someone who has been through it...

You've made this great decision to have BR surgery to better yourself.

Great post Jill!!
I agree with you 100% on everything! I had my surgery 1 1/2 ago and still marvel at my "girls" every day. I had much the same reactions you did; you look taller, thinner and the best one was and still is, you look happier!!
After surgery it does take a while for your new boobs to get into their shape and for the swelling to go down. I was just so happy to have the weight of them gone, that I really didn't care what shape they were, just so glad they were smaller!!!
Best thing I have ever done for myself and yes, this is a time when some selfishness is certainly warranted!!!

Sandy,
So glad to hear you are healing well and all is good. Also happy for you that you headaches and backaches are gone. It is such a nice feeling to not have those problems, isn't it?!
Remember to not over do it as you start feeling your old self. Listen to your body and take it easy and don't over use your arms. Swelling and soreness can set you back a bit.
Keep us posted~

Hi Sandy I couldn't agree more with the others posts. As long as you are happy with the results that is what is the most important thing. People who new made comments (mostly positive) also people made comments about weight loss etc. I took about six months for my breast to slightly fall and take a normal shape and before that they where very hard and awkwardly pointy. Like Nancy almost a year and a half later I still marvel at my new girls every day.
