I am by no means an expert in BK, but I have heard from others that if you qualify (which I'm sure the lawyer probably let you know when you met him) then you stop paying your CC bills in order to save the money to file? Perhaps you could ask on the debt quesitons and answers board (there are some people who know their stuff over there!)
