Welcome Erin sunshine,oh you poor darling,i can't beleive the drs let you go so long with such going to the toilet...oh my goodness no wonder you were dehydrated to such and extent...ok ..my thoughts are ..it was certainly some kind of stomach virus....but now you may have flared the celiac up ...i have lomotil tablets handy but they are drs script only most times,or get handy a medication that is for diarrhea...and keep handy..i keep my in fridge..do not let your self get like that bad again honey.
right this is what i would start...buy your self some pure apple juice.some apples.to start with..some bananas ,no acid citrus etc for now..
Also meant to tell you..Garlic is very good for you.
i take also 1 garlic cap a day ,plus i use crushed garlic,minced and powder in my cooking in everything

Not much to add, but I would recommend keeping a diary and write down everything you eat and drink with the date and time you ate it and also any symptoms should be written down with the date and time as well. If you have to go back to the doc, it might become a handy tool for them. Also, I would probably ask if they want to recommend you to a GI specialist
Hi once again ,i'd like to add further ,i totally agree with the keeping of all tests xrays ect,i hve copies for years,,all in a special folder ,and i get out now and again and go over them all...its so good to know what has happened in the past years...you just never know why things may appear..as said in last post it was caused my radiation...
i also tell my doctor about things i have if he orders a test i have had before and i take in previous test when ihave to go back for new result so they can see the difference if any over that period of time...so always ask for the results to keep or get a copy which you are entitledto have ..
just an idea ...i bought myself a small cabinate and i store all my medical things in it ..i even have tests from my kids and thats years ago ,my baby is now 44 years ..so now my grand kids and great grandkids too...
