Here is a useful recipe to replace condensed soup in conventional casserole recipes:

2C. instant nonfat dry milk

1/4 C GF instant chicken Bouillon

1 tsp dried basil, crushed

1/2 tsp pepper

3/4 C cornstarch

2 T dried onion flakes

1 tsp dried thyme

Combine all ingredients, mix well. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 cups of mix which is equal to 9 cans of soup. To use as a supstitute for 1 can condensed soup in your casserole recipe, mix 1/2 C dry mix with 1 1/4 Cups of water in sauce pan. Cook on medi heat until thick, stirring occasionally. Then mix in with other casserole ingredients. If you like, when cooking the mix, you may add a tablespoon of margarine or butter. That increases the fat to 11.7 grams and the calories from 95 to 195.

Hope you enjoy this!!
