Hi Ladies,

I just got back from my regular doctors appt yesterday and I had both high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I wasn't completely surprised b/c I had the same with my 1st but disappointed none the same. I was really hoping for VBAC. My BP was 150/100 which is not good. I just had a blood test done and everything else looks good-kidneys, liver, etc and the baby seems completely fine with lots of fluid. My OB wanted to but me in the hospital but I told him I would really do nothing if I stayed home and he trusted me for today. My DH is fantastic and has been taking care of both me and DS.

Soooo, I go back in tomorrow to check it all out again and if It is still high I will go to the hospital with the probability of having the baby sometime around Thanksgiving. My first was born at 36 weeks and we have not had any problems but I am still anxious for our little bean. Any prayers would really be appreciated. Thanks:)

Good Luck, Linda. I know bed rest must be tough especially with your little boy. You're in the home stretch, though!! Hopefully time passes fast and your new little one will be here any day. I have had some problems with my pregnancy for the last couple of weeks and I was put on light duty and warned that it may become bedrest. It has been very hard to really do nothing, so I can understand what you're going through. I hope I can manage to avoid complete bedrest. Keep us posted and Take care.

Thanks Kim...I really am sticking to what the doctor said and not doing a thing--all I can think about is my little baby tring to gain a few more pounds. Luckily my DS loves to sit and read books and play with playdough--at least in the morning. I went to see my doctor yesterday and my bp was stable so I have at least a few more days....xx

Linda,

I am thinking of you and hoping that sitting around doing nothing continues to do the trick! I am sure that it's tough and lucky you have your husband to support you!
