So sleepy at 6 weeks

Hi

I'm 6 weeks along now and I'm sooooo tired all the time. Thank goodness I only work 3 days. Usually I'm in bed around 4 p.m. napping, then never feel like cooking dinner or doing anything. I get nausious now and then. Is it normal to feel so darn tired? Sometimes I feel bloated, then sometimes I don't. I'm also on the progesterone suppositories, which may have some side effects of their own.

I am not planning on telling anybody I'm pregnant till I'm clearly out of the woods.

Anybody experiencing similiar symptoms?

I'm not pregnant, but your symptoms are completely normal. The progesterone also made me tired. I think for the first 3 months of my pregnancy, I didn't cook 'cause I was nauseous. The husband cooked, or we ordered take out. I couldn't stand the smell of most things...I was too tired to do minor things like laundry...

They say that being nauseaus and tired is a good sign! So here's hoping your bean is growing up a storm! :-)

Very normal to be tired at this stage. I was exausted and sick as a dog until about 10 weeks or so, then it tapered off. I still get tired, but not as bad. Now all the aches of carring the pregnancy start for me. My hips are killing me already, so I feel more energy, but I can't move!

I have a 2 hour meeting every wed at work and I was struggling to keep my eyes open yesterday. We have a couch in the room so when we had a break and everyone went out to smoke, I laid down to rest & my stupid store manager sent me out to get him a box so I "wouldn't fall asleep". What an ass.
