I had a m/c over the summer which started with brownish spotting and no cramping.

I know that this is easier said than done, but try your best to remain calm -- stress is not good for baby development. I actually spotted with both of my children throughout the first trimester. My OB maintained that unless it is bright red, it is not anything to be concerned about. I've also had 2 previous m/c, and in both cases it turned bright red very early on -- there was a distinct difference between the m/c and normal spotting. So, with that in mind, take it easy and try to pamper yourself a little over the next couple of days. Good luck with your u/s -- be sure to pop in to let us know how it went.

Oh, I'm so sorry they don't have an answer for you yet. I'm sure the waiting is a killer. I'm praying for you that everything works out and that baby really takes off by the next u/s. Take Care. Keep us posted. Ginger ale really helped my nausea this last pregnancy.
