Mammograms

I was scheduled to have a mammogram today (my last one was about a year and a half ago). The radiology center told me that since I'm pregnant, I should reschedule -- for a date six months after I stop breastfeeding! By my calculations (assuming all goes well with the baby and the breastfeeding and such), that will be in early 2010. Is this anything to be concerned about? I'm planning to ask my doctor, of course, but I'd like to hear anyone else's experience.

I turned 40 in February and my last mammogram was totally fine, if that helps.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the breasts undergo a lot of changes within the tissue.
