I read Ethel Kennedy, wife of Robert had #11 at 40 (almost 41) No US, CVS, AFP, just a lot of faith. And 10 C-sections I think! He was killed when she was pregnant. Terrible. JFK and Jackie O would kindly refer to trips to his brother's house as a visit to the zoo. Kinda like life around here but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Under "FYI" above I posted that my grandmother had my mother 70 years ago at age 41 and my other grandmother had my dad at age 43, 76 years ago! No modern medicine there either and both are very healthy and happy! Plus my dad has an IQ of a genius! Go figure..... Julie

I keep reading about all the tests we have now, that are offered and pushed at us, and sometimes I think what's the point? It's all really out of our hands and I just think why stress through the whole pregnancy if the docs can't fix the test results. All I had with my first five were U/S at 18 weeks and the blood glucose test. I'm just 6+ weeks now, but I'm

I think those tests are "pushed" at us because the Dr.'s don't want any surprises they may feel they think they could be sued for.

I have a copy of my family tree, all the way back to England in the early 1700's.
