Sorry you are having a tough time but I kind of know how you are feeling.
Congratulations on your new baby! I'm sorry that you are having such a tough time. From what you have said, it all sounds very natural what you are feeling. Also, it will take some time for your hormones to go back to normal. I also had baby blues with my son, and I would cry sometimes for no reason. My DH would ask me what I was crying about, and I wouldn't know!?
I have the same concerns that my son will feel neglected or not as loved. He is my first and nothing can change that. I am due in 2 weeks, so I will keep you posted.
Hope you feel better soon.
PS It's good that you are reaching out. Talking and sharing with friends and family can be the best medicine.
just an update.im feeling better.today is monday 9 days post op and i do feel a little better,i guess part of it is that im starting to feel myself a little more now.kyla was with her dad for the weekend so it gave eric and i our first weeknd with new baby but more important, he watched her for me to get into my bikini,... yes im back in my bikini ..... what ! and let me go and lay out and get some sun.it was sooo nice.im feeling better physically too.kyla came home from dads and couldnt wait to hold layla,i told her i loved her soo much and a little how i was feeling and she said "dont be ridiculous mom i know you love me,now give me the baby!"
and im also able to go up the stairs now and tucked her into bed last night, even fit in their with her to lay like we used too.i guess things just take ... TIME.also adjusting to having (two) children as opposed to my (one) for 12 yrs!
soo very glad to be out of those evil maternity clothes,no more braxton hicks,or swollen feet, and the baby is great.
