So I've been hanging out at the November expecting club lately.
Birth used to be a life event.
I am all for extra care and monitoring, but I guess what bugs me is the notion that solely because you're pregnant and past a certain age you're automatically high risk.
My OB never even really wanted to call me AMA and I was 45.
I delivered just shy of 40 (thinking of another one, so lurking)
I just wanted to say, my 39 yo pregnancy was so much easier than my 36 yo pregnancy. And no one called me AMA (maybe it was in the file, but no face to face).
Hi I think the "high risk" label is put on too many women especially by dr's.
My doctor did put me at high risk due to my "AMA."
John's wife and Michael and Jenna's mommy, my 3 blessings and another "surprise" blessing on the way, due October 11th!
