We still can't make up our mind if we want to know.

I don't know yet if we will find out. We already have 4 boys and a girl would be nice. I can't allow myself to even entertain the thought for fear of disappointment. I don't want to be selfish and as the old cliche' goes "as long as it's healthy". But between you and me I REALLY hope it's a girl:)

Take Care,

I definitely plan to find out the gender ASAP (though not through amnio if it isn't otherwise needed). It's not that I have a strong preference either way, I just feel I can form a stronger bond with the baby once I know its gender. I can't wait till I can call my growing baby

We know we're having a boy. We learned this from the results of my amnio (done in early December). We knew what each of our children were (this is #3 for us). I had an amnio with this pregnancy and my last one, and I tried to hold off not finding out the gender of our second child, but my husband wanted to know. So after my doc gave us the results of the amnio, I called the doc back and gave her permission to tell my husband the sex. He kept it a secret from me until I hit about 34 weeks when we were shopping for gender-neutral baby stuff (of which there wasn't a great selection...) and I was feeling fat, tired, and just plain old DONE! At that moment I looked at him and said something like "Just tell me what it is so I can find some cute things for this baby. I can't stand being in this store any longer than I have to be." That's when I learned the baby was a girl. This time, we had to plan room/sleeping arrangements since two of our three children will now have to share a room. That and I just wanted to be prepared (do I keep all the pink stuff I collected over the past five years or donate it?). Best wishes to you in deciding whether you want to find out your baby's gender...
