Hey, Karen. I think I'd do exactly what you plan to do -- call my local OB's office to see if they can't facilitate having your blood drawn locally, then having the results of it sent to the other office. Yikes, a 1.5+ hour drive just for a blood test. Ugh! Let us know what they say. I can't imagine why it matters where your blood's drawn, but maybe there's a good reason for them wanting you to go to the far-away place. Let us know...

I agree with the PP - you shouldn't have to travel 1.5 hours for a blood draw - totally unnecessary.
